1. ABOUT SOUPHAVOC
SoupHavoc operates the Minecraft server available through souphavoc.com, the SoupHavoc Discord community, and the SoupHavoc Discord bot.

2. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT
When you use the SoupHavoc Minecraft server, we may process information including:
- Minecraft username and UUID
- IP address and connection information
- Login and logout times
- Gameplay statistics, such as kills, deaths, balances, bounties, teams, ranks and event results
- Commands and server activity where required for moderation, security or troubleshooting
- Chat messages
- Punishment and moderation records
- Anti-cheat and gameplay-integrity information
- Block interaction/history information where moderation or rollback systems record it
When you interact with the SoupHavoc Discord bot or Discord community, we may process:
- Discord user ID
- Discord username and display name
- Discord roles relevant to SoupHavoc
- Linked Minecraft username and UUID
- Team applications and recruitment information
- Support tickets and reports
- Suggestions and bug reports
- Interactions with SoupHavoc bot commands
- Information required to synchronise Minecraft and Discord accounts
SoupHavoc does not ask for or require your Discord password.
3. MINECRAFT AND DISCORD ACCOUNT LINKING
Players may voluntarily link their Minecraft account to their Discord account using the SoupHavoc linking system.
When linked, SoupHavoc stores an association between the player's Minecraft identity and Discord user ID. This may be used for:
- Player profiles
- Rank synchronisation
- Team recruitment
- Statistics and leaderboards
- Community and achievement roles
- Event and account features
Players may unlink their account using the available unlinking system.
4. WHY WE USE INFORMATION
We may use information to:
- Operate the Minecraft server and Discord bot
- Provide player statistics, economy features and account linking
- Prevent cheating, abuse, exploits and unauthorised activity
- Investigate player reports and enforce rules
- Maintain security and service reliability
- Diagnose technical problems
- Operate events, rankings and leaderboards
- Provide support
- Improve SoupHavoc
5. LEGAL BASIS
Where UK data-protection law applies, SoupHavoc may process personal information where necessary for legitimate interests in operating, securing, moderating and improving the service.
Where an optional feature requires information to be supplied voluntarily, consent or legitimate interests may apply depending on the circumstances.
6. WHO INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED WITH
Information may be processed by service providers required to operate SoupHavoc, including:
- Minecraft and bot hosting providers
- Discord
- Domain, DNS, email and website providers
- Backup and infrastructure providers
Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect users, SoupHavoc, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats or unlawful conduct.
SoupHavoc does not sell player personal information.
7. DATA RETENTION
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Examples include:
- Ordinary technical logs may be rotated or deleted periodically
- Gameplay statistics may remain while the server operates
- Account-linking records may remain until unlinking or deletion
- Moderation records may be retained where necessary to enforce restrictions or prevent abuse
- Support tickets and reports may be retained for moderation, safety, troubleshooting and dispute-resolution purposes
Specific retention periods may be introduced or updated as SoupHavoc develops.
8. SECURITY
SoupHavoc uses reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including authentication, restricted administrative access and secured service credentials.
However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including rights to:
- Request access to information held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion in appropriate circumstances
- Object to certain processing
- Request restriction of certain processing

10. CHILDREN AND YOUNGER USERS
SoupHavoc is a gaming community and may be used by younger players.
Users should only use Discord if they meet Discord's applicable minimum age requirements.
Players should never publish sensitive personal information such as home addresses, passwords, telephone numbers, financial details or private authentication information through SoupHavoc.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
SoupHavoc uses third-party platforms and services, including Minecraft, Discord and hosting providers. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may be updated as SoupHavoc develops. Material changes may be announced through the website, Discord or other appropriate channels.
