Terms of Service

1. ACCEPTANCE

By connecting to the SoupHavoc Minecraft server, joining the SoupHavoc Discord community, or using the SoupHavoc Discord bot, you agree to these Terms of Service and the applicable SoupHavoc rules.

If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. THE SERVICE

SoupHavoc provides a Minecraft multiplayer server and related community services.

Features may include:

• PvP and Soup PvP
• Teams and team recruitment
• Survival and raiding
• Virtual currency and player economy systems
• Player marketplaces
• Bounties
• Events and KOTHs
• Rankings and statistics
• Discord integrations
• Minecraft and Discord account linking

Features may be changed, removed, reset, rebalanced or replaced as development continues.

3. PLAYER ACCOUNTS

Players are responsible for activity conducted through their Minecraft and Discord accounts.

You must not:

• Impersonate another player
• Falsely link somebody else's Minecraft account
• Bypass bans, restrictions or moderation actions
• Share or transfer access for the purpose of evading enforcement

4. FAIR PLAY

Users must comply with the SoupHavoc rules.

Prohibited conduct may include:

• Cheats or hacked clients
• X-ray or prohibited modifications
• Exploiting bugs or duplication glitches
• Attempting to compromise the server, bot or related services
• Deliberately causing server instability
• Abusing vulnerabilities
• Unauthorised automation
• Evading anti-cheat or moderation systems

Players who discover serious exploits should report them privately rather than abuse them or distribute instructions for exploiting them.

5. GAMEPLAY

SoupHavoc is designed around PvP, survival, teams and raiding.

Players acknowledge that legitimate gameplay may result in:

• Player death
• Item loss
• Base damage
• Raiding
• Loss of virtual currency
• Bounties
• Team conflict

Gameplay losses do not automatically entitle a player to restoration.

Staff may restore data where a loss resulted from a confirmed server fault, exploit or administrative error, but are not required to do so in every case.

6. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND ITEMS

SoupHavoc Gold, balances, items, bounties and other in-game assets are virtual gameplay assets.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, they:

• Have no guaranteed real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged for legal currency
• May be adjusted for balancing, moderation or technical reasons
• May be reset where reasonably necessary for server integrity

Ownership of virtual gameplay assets does not create ownership of SoupHavoc systems, databases or software.

7. DISCORD BOT

The SoupHavoc Discord bot may provide functionality including:

• Minecraft account linking
• Player statistics
• Server status
• Leaderboards
• Event notifications
• Team recruitment
• Support tickets
• Suggestions and bug reports
• Community and achievement roles

Bot functionality may occasionally be unavailable and may change without notice.

8. ACCOUNT LINKING

Players may link their Minecraft account to Discord.

You may only link an account you are authorised to use.

Attempting to link another person's account or circumvent the verification process may result in suspension or removal.

9. MODERATION

SoupHavoc staff may take reasonable moderation action including:

• Warnings
• Mutes
• Removal from channels or services
• Temporary suspensions
• Permanent bans
• Reversal of exploit-related gains
• Removal of illegitimate items or virtual currency
• Other action reasonably necessary to protect the service or community

Serious cheating, exploitation, threats, harassment, doxxing, fraud, malicious activity or attempts to compromise the service may result in immediate permanent removal.

10. COMMUNITY CONDUCT

Users must not use SoupHavoc to engage in:

• Credible threats
• Doxxing or publication of private personal information
• Scams or fraud
• Malicious impersonation
• Targeted harassment
• Illegal activity
• Distribution of malware or malicious links

In-game rivalry, PvP, raiding and competitive behaviour are permitted when they remain within SoupHavoc rules.

11. AVAILABILITY

SoupHavoc is provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted availability
• Permanent preservation of worlds, statistics or player data
• Error-free operation
• That every feature will remain unchanged

Maintenance, updates, technical faults and third-party outages may interrupt the service.

12. BACKUPS, RESETS AND SEASONS

SoupHavoc may make backups but cannot guarantee that every piece of player data can always be recovered.

World, economy, statistics or other resets may occur where reasonably necessary for:

• Major updates
• Exploit recovery
• Seasonal resets
• Technical failures
• Balancing
• Service integrity

Where practical, significant planned resets will be announced in advance.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SoupHavoc uses third-party services including Minecraft, Discord and hosting providers.

Use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies.

SoupHavoc is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang Studios, Microsoft or Discord unless explicitly stated otherwise.

14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms may change as SoupHavoc develops.

Continued use of SoupHavoc after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are intended as practical operating terms for SoupHavoc and are not legal advice. Additional legal requirements may apply if SoupHavoc begins accepting payments, selling digital goods, employing staff, incorporating as a company or materially expanding its services.
